La mayoría de las solicitudes de pregrado pasan por la aplicación común, que se abre el 1 de agosto. La Decisión Temprana y la Acción Temprana normalmente cierran alrededor del 1 de noviembre; La decisión ordinaria suele ser del 1 al 15 de enero. El sistema de la Universidad de California utiliza su propia aplicación, con fecha límite el 30 de noviembre.
